OTA rates and commissions
In MyRent, you set the prices and rules for your accommodation and connected sales channels. When setting a rate, consider your costs, the payout you want to receive, and the commission of each portal. Check commissions and terms in your agreement and in the settings of every portal.
MyRent applies your prices and rules and distributes them to connected channels. You can change a base price or rule for a specific stay before the next synchronization. The system does not determine the optimal market price by itself, does not establish commissions on your behalf, and does not guarantee profit.
Check rates before sending them
Before a larger change, review the price that guests will see on each channel. If you add a new channel or a portal changes its commission, update your settings before sending new rates.
Native pricing in MyRent is based on the prices and rules you define. PriceLabs is a separate external revenue-management system; its recommendations are not part of the native MyRent calculation. You retain the pricing decision.
A practical workflow
First choose the rate for the stay and review the rules that apply to the property. Then check the commission in your portal agreement, adjust settings if necessary, and confirm the displayed rate on the portal after synchronization. This sequence helps ensure that the rate you send reflects the decision you made.
Regular review is useful before the season, after a sales channel changes its terms, and when introducing new pricing rules. For questions about terms or commission calculation, contact the relevant sales channel because it sets its own contractual terms.
